Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking an experienced Acceptance Handover Manager to plan, manage and control the data centre and critical facilities handover process, ensuring all completed works are inspected, tested, verified against contractual, design and performance requirements, and that the facility is handed over with complete documentation, closed punch lists, and a fully prepared operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years in construction, testing and commissioning, or handover of major projects (5+ in handover for data centres).
• Knowledge of data centre systems (MV/LV, UPS, generators, cooling, ELV/BMS).
• Experience with staged commissioning and integrated systems testing.
• Strong QA/QC documentation and handover process knowledge.
• CxA/PMP certs are a plus.
• Arabic fluency with strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the acceptance and handover plan with stages, criteria, responsibilities, and documentation.
• Review contractor testing plans and ITPs for alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, IST for critical infrastructure (power, cooling, fire, ELV/BMS).
• Verify completed works meet drawings, specs, and contract requirements.
• Manage snagging and punch-list, progress tracking, close-out verification.
• Compile and review acceptance docs, test records, warranties, O&M manuals.
• Chair/participate in acceptance meetings and track actions to closure.
• Plan phased handovers and interface management between construction, testing, and operations.
• Ensure training of client operations staff is planned and delivered.
• Prepare and issue acceptance certificates, handover packs, and close-out reports.
• Maintain acceptance and handover register; report readiness, risks, and items to Sr. PM.
