Job summary

Norconsult Telematics is seeking an experienced engineer to lead end-to-end telecom facility design for technical buildings, data centers, and hosting facilities. You will develop HLD/LLD, define civil and electrical requirements, and ensure compliance with international standards.

The role requires coordinating with network teams and reviewing vendor submissions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in telecom/facilities design, strong leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of telecom facilities or data center infrastructure design.
• Solid knowledge of power systems, cooling systems, and facility design standards.
• Experience with multi-vendor facilities solutions and construction supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent tools.
• Strong management, leadership, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of telecom facility and data center infrastructure.
• Review High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for all systems.
• Coordinate with network teams to align capacity with equipment needs.
• Review and approve facility designs, layout drawings and vendor submissions.
• Lead technical design reviews ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to facilities engineering teams.
