Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation EIT supervisor for an offshore deck/topside project in Oman. You will oversee planning, preparation and execution of all discipline requirements from yard activities to load out.

You will ensure constructability aligns with project drawings and industry standards, and manage construction with a strong focus on safety, quality and schedule. The role requires multinational teamwork and deep knowledge of offshore criteria.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation.
• 8 years experience on large offshore decks/topsides in an EIT supervisory role.
• Experience with multinational teams.
• Knowledge of project execution procedures and field management.
• Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors or heavy construction.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities/structures and yard operations.
• Knowledge of sour gas and LNG production facility risks.
• Experience in large scale operating organizations across multiple functions.

Job description

• Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform E&IT discipline requirements of the project from yard activities to load out, ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.
• Ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering Drawings and industry processes and standards.
• Manage construction activities with a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Schedule.
• Supervise and control Contractor/Subcontractor activities related to fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning.
• Identify areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation.
• 8 years experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in an E&IT supervisory position.
• Experience with multinational teams.
• Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions
• Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
