Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Oman is seeking a seasoned Electrical and Instrumentation supervisor for offshore decks, topsides and living quarters. The role requires 8 years of experience in a supervisory position within E&I, with exposure to large offshore facilities.

You will work with multinational teams and apply knowledge of project execution, field management, fabrication, welding, lifting, and testing to support commissioning and completions on challenging offshore projects.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience on large offshore decks/topsides in an E&I supervisory role.
• Experience working with multinational teams.
• Strong knowledge of project execution procedures and field management, including fabrication, welding, lifting, testing and completions.

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

8 years experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in a E&IT supervisory position
Experience with multinational teams
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding,lifting, mechanical testing and completions.

Technical and Business Skills:

Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport,
installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
