Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services is seeking a Construction Lead (Mech /HVAC CP4N) with strong EPC oil & gas experience to oversee execution in our mechanical scope. The role requires leadership in project execution, field management, and safety compliance across fabrication, welding, lifting, testing and completions.

The candidate should hold a Bachelors degree in Sciences or Engineering and bring at least 8 years of relevant project experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications*

Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

8 years specific involvement in project execution with previous leading roles in mechanical/HVAC scope within an EPC contract
execution environment in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting,
mechanical testing and completions.
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Experience working in large scale operating organisations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface etc.

Technical and Business Skills:-

Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation,brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas
and LNG production facilities.
