Job summary

LOGIS GROUP, an international logistics leader, seeks an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead operations in Oman. The role requires strong senior management background in project logistics, heavy cargo, and global shipping, plus a proven ability to drive growth and client relationships.

You will oversee Oman operations, drive strategy, manage finances, and build a high-performing team while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Significant senior management experience in project logistics, heavy/oversized cargo, freight forwarding, shipping, or related industries.
• Experience as a CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or in a comparable senior executive position.
• Strong commercial and business development background with proven ability to grow a business and develop key client relationships.
• Experience managing complex international logistics projects.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Experience in the Middle East / GCC is a strong advantage.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Oman and be permanently based there.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and business plans in alignment with the Group’s objectives.
• Oversee all operations in Oman, including project logistics, shipping agency services, port-related activities, and supply chain operations.
• Lead business development initiatives, expand the company’s market presence, secure new contracts, and develop relationships with key clients, government entities, partners, and port authorities.
• Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and overall financial control.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Represent the company in key negotiations, industry events, and meetings with clients, partners, authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Omani regulations, including labor, maritime, and relevant industry requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across logistics planning, project execution, shipping coordination, and supply chain management.
• Provide regular business and performance reports to the Group’s management and shareholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Significant senior management experience inproject logistics, heavy/oversized cargo, freight forwarding, shipping, or related industries.
• Previous experience as aCEO, Managing Director, General Manager, or in a comparable senior executive position.
• Strong commercial and business development background with a proven ability to grow a business and develop key client relationships.
• Experience managing complex international logistics projects.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Experience in theMiddle East / GCCis a strong advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent Englishis required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness torelocate to Oman and be permanently based there.
