Job summary

Specialized Import and Trading LLC - Oman in Muscat seeks an IKEA Food Representative to drive sales through merchandising and exceptional customer service. The role includes operating a cash register, maintaining clean checkout areas, and following all cash-handling SOPs to ensure accurate transactions.

The position requires 3–5 years in a similar role, fluency in English and the local language, and a strong customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school or trade school graduate.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the IFB activities in the store commercial calendar.
• Ensure all IFB articles are merchandised, labeled and priced according to IKEA standards.
• Understand and use selling tools to boost average transaction value and items per transaction.
• Compute and record transactions with 100% accuracy for register transactions.
• Ensure safe cash handling and accurately process sales using available tools.
• Follow SOPs for cash handling, counting and recording the float before and after trading.
• Ensure customer payments are processed quickly and accurately.
• Participate in monthly stock takes and inventory control.
• Provide a positive shopping experience with high customer service standards and clean areas.
