Job summary

IKEA Oman is seeking an Import Specialist to ensure seamless retail and supply processes at store level, handling imports, warehouse operations, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain stock availability.

You will coordinate with customs and external warehouses, optimize logistics costs, lead the logistics team, and ensure timely clearance and delivery of containers while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• MS Excel proficiency and MS Office familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Deadline-oriented with scheduling experience.
• Experience planning, implementing and monitoring logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Control incoming containers by sea/road to IKEA Oman and ensure adherence to supply setups.
• Coordinate with Oman authorities for customs approvals and tariff rates.
• Manage imports/exports by tracking article ranges and tariff codes.
• Plan stock availability by prioritizing clearance and generating GRN in systems.
• Lead logistics and goods flow to maximize store availability while minimizing costs.
• Monitor KPIs and maintain strong relationships with customs and logistics partners.
