Job summary

IKEA Oman is seeking an Import Specialist to manage seamless retail and supply integration at store level, overseeing imports, warehouse operations and stock availability to customers.

You will coordinate with customs, suppliers and external warehouses, optimize total logistics costs, monitor KPIs, and ensure timely clearance and delivery of containers while upholding brand standards and strong partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and customs processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Control incoming containers by sea/road to IKEA Oman and manage supply setups.
• Coordinate with Oman customs for product approvals and duty rates.
• Manage imports/exports by tracking article ranges and tariff codes.
• Plan stock availability by prioritizing clearance and generating GRN in systems.
• Ensure store stock availability to minimize shortages and meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external warehouses to optimize costs.
