Job summary

Global Green Growth Institute in Salalah, Oman, seeks a Community Engagement & Campaign Assistant (Animator) to lead the BICAB awareness campaign and mobilize local agropastoral communities under the ARISE program.

Working in gender-balanced pairs, you will collect field data, conduct KAP surveys and FGDs, and coordinate with volunteers to drive Nature-based Solutions adoption while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in community development, social work, agriculture, environmental studies, or related field.
• 1–3 years of grassroots campaigning, community mobilization, social work, or field surveying.
• Experience with international organizations, NGOs, or government agencies is a strong advantage.
• Experience in organizing and managing technical training and workshops.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• Native-level fluency in Arabic; basic working proficiency in English.
• A valid Oman motorcycle driving license is required for field travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical support to local events and meetings.
• Deliver communications and engage communities in the Dhofar region.
• Serve as frontline data collector for the Data Collection Mechanism (DCM) and MEL; conduct KAP surveys and FGDs.
• Promote NbS benefits and mobilize volunteers for the BICAB campaign.
• Prepare post-event reports and support donor reporting.
