Manpower Resources India is seeking an Assistant Manager Deputy Manager Finance & Accounts for our Oman operations. The role focuses on managing plant finance, accounting activities, budgeting, and MIS reporting to support informed business decisions.

The candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 2–7 years of post-qualification experience, with hands-on budgeting, MIS reporting, project accounting, and SAP exposure to drive financial modelling and cash flow projections.

Qualifications

• CA qualification with 2-7 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in plant finance and accounting in manufacturing or process industries.
• Hands-on budgeting MIS reporting, project accounting and variance analysis.
• Working knowledge of SAP and exposure to financial modelling and cash flow projections.

Responsabilités

• Plant finance and accounting including GL, journal entries, reconciliations, provisions and reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
• Monitor project accounting, CAPEX, CWIP, assets, and costs against budgets.
• Support financial modelling, cash flow projections, and profitability analysis.
• Control operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Assist cash flow planning, working capital monitoring and forecasting.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for compliance.
• Collaborate with plant operations, project teams, and corporate finance for accurate reporting.

Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for managing plant finance and accounting activities supporting project accounting budgeting and MIS reporting and assisting in financial analysis and planning The role requires working knowledge of SAP and exposure to financial modelling to support business decisions project evaluation and cost management

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Finance amp AccountingHandle plant-level accounting activities including general ledger journal entries account reconciliations provisions and financial reporting
• Budgeting amp ForecastingAssist in preparing annual budgets periodic forecasts and financial plans including analysis of actual performance against budgeted figures
• MIS ReportingPrepare monthly MIS reports financial statements variance analysis and management reports to support business decision-making
• Project AccountingMonitor project-related expenditure capital expenditure CAPEX capital work-in-progress CWIP fixed asset capitalization and project costs against approved budgets
• Financial Analysis amp ModellingAssist in financial modelling cash flow projections profitability analysis and project financial evaluation
• Cost ControlMonitor plant operating expenses analyse cost variances and identify opportunities for cost optimization
• Cash Flow ManagementSupport cash flow planning working capital monitoring and financial forecasting
• Audit amp ComplianceCoordinate with internal and statutory auditors and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Cross-functional CoordinationWork closely with plant operations project teams and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cost management

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified Chartered Accountant CA with 2 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Experience in plant finance and accounting preferably in a manufacturing or process industry
• Hands-on experience in budgeting MIS reporting Project Accounting and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of SAP Exposure to financial modelling financial analysis and cash flow projections
