Job summary

Orewa College seeks a passionate learning support coordinator to champion inclusive education for Year 7–8 students. The role requires a registered teacher with a Tūturu Full Practising Certificate and a strong commitment to culturally responsive practice.

Part-time, permanent position, working with Year 7–8 students, staff and whānau. You will strengthen school systems, coordinate targeted support, and deliver professional learning to drive improved learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered teacher with Tūturu Full Practising Certificate (or eligible).
• Experience applying the NZ Curriculum and inclusive education practices.
• Ability to identify learning needs and coordinate targeted support.
• Strong collaboration with staff, students and whānau to support diverse learners.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced learning support coordinator to champion inclusive education and support students with diverse learning needs. This is a part time, permanent position, working with our Year 7 and 8 students, staff and whānau. The position requires a registered teacher with a Tūturu | Full Practising Certificate and a strong commitment to culturally responsive practice.

Key responsibilities include strengthening school-wide systems, coordinating targeted support, providing professional learning, and offering solutions-focused assistance. Experience working with theNZ Curriculumis desired.
