Pacific Health Group's Manukau branch is seeking an empathetic and experienced Counsellor for a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) position in our office. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to support people the Pacific Health way, providing counselling to employees in work and life contexts.

You will deliver focused interventions, visit worksites after events, and provide in-person, video and telehealth counselling while training customer employees.

Formación

• Tertiary Level 7 Counselling or related qualification.
• Minimum five years of post-study experience in general counselling.
• Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCA.
• Knowledge of evidence-based models (SFT, CBT, FACT) desirable.
• Ability to work independently and attend on-sites for psychological first aid.
• Experience in trauma intervention and psychological first aid.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver focused interventions enabling clients to utilise health coping mechanisms at work and life.
• Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption.
• Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth.
• Deliver training to customer employees.
