Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates in Marlborough is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Matua Marlborough team. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined Laboratory team that provides technical service and support to our winemaking and cellar teams.

The role focuses on quality control through routine sampling, testing and reporting, plus trouble-shooting, maintaining quality systems and supporting a close-knit team. Experience with laboratory instrumentation and a scientific degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with a range of laboratory instrumentation.
• Ideal to have tertiary qualification in a scientific field.
• Able to work flexible hours during peak harvest.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Pragmatic, self-motivated, solutions and customer focused.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Practical beverage/food industry experience highly regarded.
