Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates (Matua Marlborough) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a multi-disciplinary laboratory team providing technical service and support to winemaking and cellar operations. You will carry out quality control checks, troubleshoot, maintain quality systems, and support colleagues in a close-knit team, with flexibility during harvest. Experience with instrumentation and a scientific degree is preferred; beverage industry experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience using and maintaining a range of laboratory instrumentation.
• Tertiary qualification in a scientific field preferred.
• Be able to work flexible hours as required during peak harvest period.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Pragmatic, self-motivated, solutions and customer focused.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Practical beverage/food industry experience highly regarded.
