Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates in Marlborough seeks a Laboratory QA & Sustainability Supervisor to coordinate laboratory activities, uphold quality and compliance, and support sustainability reporting across winery operations.

You will lead testing, maintain quality systems and documentation, analyse KPI data, and support audits (food safety, HACCP and organic) while driving continuous improvement with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within the food, beverage, wine, or manufacturing industry.
• Experience working within documented quality management systems and audit environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

• Maintain laboratory quality systems, equipment calibration programs, SOPs, and controlled documentation.
• Compile and analyse laboratory, quality, and sustainability KPI data, providing insights and reporting to support business performance.
• Support internal and external audit programs, including food safety, quality, environmental, HACCP, and organic certification audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory, quality assurance, and sustainability systems.

About the Role

As the Laboratory QA & Sustainability Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating laboratory activities, maintaining quality and compliance systems, supporting sustainability reporting, and ensuring accurate analytical testing to support winery operations.
