Job summary

Ngāti Porou Oranga seeks a dedicated Full-Time Kaiwhakarite in Tairawhiti to coordinate and support programmes, services and events that advance our kaupapa. You will work with the Care Services Manager, Kaiawhina and Kaimahi to ensure tamariki, mokopuna and whānau receive timely, respectful support.

Successful applicants will hold relevant admin qualifications, robust organizational and communication skills, and a strong understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga.

Qualifications

• Prefers an Office Administration and Database Entry qualification.
• Current NZ Driver Licence.
• Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi in health/community services.
• Competency in Te Reo Māori and tikanga Māori is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of programmes, services, wānanga and events.
• Support whānau and tamariki to access care pathways with whānau-centred respect.
• Manage venues, transport, catering, equipment and process financial documents.
• Ensure safeguarding, child protection and organizational policies are followed.
• Maintain office records and database entries.
