The Kaiwhakarite - Service Administrator is a pivotal role within the service, providing administrative, systems, reporting, and coordination support to the Whānau Care Services team and managing the Te Peehi Parata Whānau Whare service. The role supports the effective operation of Whānau Care Services across the Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district through the administration, maintenance, monitoring and navigation of organisational systems, reporting platforms, and service data requirements. A key responsibility of this position is to provide services to support the administrative functioning of Whānau Care Services across the district and to achieve the goals and objectives of the service. This support will enable the delivery of timely, professional and high-quality administrative services that will assist the General Manager and team members to provide a safe, quality service that is in line with best practice and service specifications.
The successful candidate for this role will be organised, diligent, have outstanding attention to detail, be confident dealing with staff at all levels, comfortable prioritising multiple responsibilities and demonstrate resilience in a busy environment. You will need to work as an individual and as part of a team, working in a courteous and professional manner, making effective decisions with your internal stakeholders in a mind.
