Transam is seeking an organised Operations Freight Coordinator in Wellington to support international freight operations across imports, exports, airfreight, sea freight, courier and domestic transport. Working with customers, overseas agents and providers to ensure shipments are coordinated efficiently and documentation is accurate.

The role requires experience in freight forwarding, strong admin and communication skills, and a proactive attitude to handle multiple priorities.

Competenze

• Two years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and international freight processes.
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and relationship-building with a customer-focused approach.
• Good time management and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Mansioni

• Coordinate import and export shipments, processing freight documentation and monitoring shipments to delivery.
• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines and transport providers to keep freight moving and resolve queries.
• Process bookings, prepare freight quotations, assist with job costing and customer invoicing.
• Arrange transport, collections and deliveries, coordinating drivers and carriers to meet requirements.
• Maintain shipment records, files and systems, ensuring compliance with customs, MPI and industry rules.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to freight, warehouse and logistics teams.
