Transam Logistics in Wellington, NZ, is seeking an organised Operations Freight Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound shipments, liaise with customers and agents, and ensure accurate documentation across air and sea freight, domestic transport and warehousing. The role requires initiative, reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a small branch.

• Minimum of two years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and international freight processes.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused communication and relationship-building.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and willing to learn.
• Strong MS Office experience.

Mansioni

• Coordinate import and export shipments, processing freight documentation and monitoring shipments through to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines and transport providers to keep freight moving and resolve operational queries.
• Process customer bookings, prepare freight quotations, assist with job costing and complete customer invoicing.
• Arrange transport, collections and deliveries, coordinating drivers and carriers to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, job files and operational systems, ensuring compliance with relevant customs, MPI and industry requirements.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider freight, warehouse and logistics teams.
