Transam in Wellington seeks an organized freight forwarding professional to coordinate imports/exports, manage documentation and maintain shipment records. You will liaise with customers, overseas agents, lines and transport providers to keep freight moving and ensure excellent service.

This full-time role offers varied exposure across international freight, warehousing and branch operations. Two years in freight forwarding, strong MS Office skills, and customer-focused communication are

Competenze

• Minimum of two years of freight forwarding experience.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and international freight processes.
• Strong administration and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and customer-focused approach.
• Good time management and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Proactive attitude and teamwork.

Mansioni

• Coordinate import and export shipments, processing freight documentation and monitoring shipments through to final delivery.
• Liaise with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines and transport providers to keep freight moving and resolve operational queries.
• Process customer bookings, prepare freight quotations, assist with job costing and complete customer invoicing.
• Arrange transport, collections and deliveries, coordinating drivers and carriers to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, job files and operational systems, ensuring compliance with relevant customs, MPI and industry requirements.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider freight, warehouse and logistics teams.
