Job summary

Qube Ports NZ is seeking a skilled Welder Engineer for our Bluff port operation. You will perform fabrications, maintenance, and repairs on heavy off‑road machinery, including loaders and terminal tractors, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 7am–4pm, with overtime available. Candidates should have proven heavy machinery experience and be able to work independently or in a small team. A pre-employment medical and drug test will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience welding on heavy machinery and port equipment.
• Experience with fabrication and repair of heavy vehicles and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

• Monitor and replace worn attachments and components

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilledWelder Engineerfor our Bluff port operation. In this hands‑on role, you’ll carry out fabrication, maintenance, and repair work on a wide range of heavy off‑road machinery including loaders, material handlers, and terminal tractors.

Status:Full-time, Mon-Fri working 7am to 4pm
