Job summary
Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced Water and Waste Water infrastructure Operator to join the Queenstown team. You will support operational teams to ensure safe drinking water delivery and wastewater collection, carrying out key operational tasks with a focus on asset maintenance.

Qualifications
- Experience with water mains (25mm–550mm) and wastewater infrastructure (100mm–550mm).
- Ability to operate civil construction equipment and heavy machinery.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with contractors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain reticulation infrastructure and network assets (planned, routine, breakdown).
- Identify and escalate problems within defined timeframes.
- Undertake designated infrastructure operations duties and fault finding/repairs.
- Operate excavators, small trucks and other small plant for repairs.
- Participate in On-Call duty roster and promote Health & Safety and QA standards.
- Comply with Veolia OH&S and Environmental policies and participate in toolbox talks.
