Job summary

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support a water infrastructure project in South Auckland or Bay of Plenty. The role offers opportunities to advance in civil and water infrastructure, assisting with project delivery, team coordination, and commissioning of water/wastewater treatment works.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.
• Demonstrates autonomy and proactive ownership of tasks.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, engineering principles, QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality standards.
• Assist in final stages of mechanical, electrical, and commissioning works on a WWTW project.
• Supervise and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Track project costs, review subcontractor claims, and manage valuations.
• Ensure QA, safety, and environmental standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors and project managers.
