Job summary

Assemble seeks a Senior Project Engineer with proven experience delivering major water infrastructure projects across New Zealand, including water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and other technically complex civil works.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, experience pricing and securing work, and the ability to develop and manage project programmes and construction methodologies, leading teams to deliver safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• NZ work rights and experience are essential
• Proven ability to price tenders and manage procurement activities
• Strong commercial acumen and contract awareness

Responsibilities

• Price work, contribute to tenders and support procurement activities
• Oversee all technical aspects from initiation to completion
• Develop and implement project delivery methodologies
• Review drawings, specs and design documentation
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and internal teams
• Monitor progress, budgets and timelines to achieve delivery targets
• Identify and resolve technical issues and risks
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental standards on site
• Maintain accurate project records and reports
