Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd in New Plymouth is seeking a highly motivated person to join our Warehouse team. The role involves manual handling in a chilled environment and requires good communication and computer literacy for PODs and Microsoft Office.

Candidates should be physically fit, with inventory/logistics awareness and strong attention to detail. We work Monday to Friday, 4am to 12:30pm, with overtime and occasional Saturdays; NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit is required, and a pre-employment

We are seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, reliable person to join the New Plymouth Warehouse team. Previous warehousing experience and a current forklift license would be desirable but is not essential.

Ideally, successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Physically fit to cope with the manual nature of the role
• The ability to work in a chilled environment
• Ability to deal with people on all levels, and good communication skills
• Computer literacy - PODs and Microsoft Office
• Inventory / Logistics skills
• Strong attention to detail

We work Monday-Friday, 4am - 12.30pm with overtime available and the odd Saturday when needed. We work most public holidays. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidates.
