Job summary

Kiwicold Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator for our Takanini and Otahuhu sites. The role supports temperature-controlled warehousing, handling goods safely and efficiently in chilled environments.

Responsibilities include receiving, inventory checks, picking/packing orders and operating forklifts. A NZ forklift licence is essential, with prior warehouse or cold-storage experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A current New Zealand forklift licence is essential.
• Experience in warehouse, cold-storage or logistics environments.
• Willingness to work in chilled and frozen environments.
• Ability to perform manual handling and maintain accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Basic computer and warehouse-system skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods.
• Checking product quantities, condition, batch numbers and expiry dates.
• Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Safely loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Wrapping, moving and storing pallets.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assisting with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Completing warehouse paperwork and system entries accurately.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Following food-safety, health-and-safety and operational procedures.
• Supporting other warehouse duties as required

Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our team across our Takanini and Otahuhu facilities.

This is a full-time position supporting our temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, picking and organisation of goods while helping us deliver reliable and professional service to our customers.

The role involves working in chilled and frozen warehouse environments. Appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for
