Job summary

Tegel Foods Ltd is seeking several motivated individuals to join the Christchurch Warehouse team. Duties include warehousing tasks, lifting up to 15 kg, and picking and packing. The shift runs from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work when required.

Applicants must hold HT Class 4 forklift/reach truck licences and have warehousing experience. A pre-employment medical and drug screen are mandatory, and NZ citizenship/residency or valid NZ work visa is required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to perform manual handling.
• Able to work in a chilled environment.
• Forklift and Reach truck licences (HT Class 4).
• Previous warehousing experience.
• Good literacy and numeracy; scanning required.
• Big team player with good references.
• Pre-employment medical and drug screen required.

About the role:

We are seeking multiple highly motivated, ambitious and reliable individuals to join the Christchurch Warehouse team. Duties will include warehousing, lifting to 15kg, picking and packing.

Shift pattern is 5.30am start time, finishing at 2.00pm, permenrnt Monday - Friday. Flexibility to work on Saturddays when required.

• HT Class 4, including Forklift / Reach truck experience - essential requirements for the role

To be considered for the role you must have the following attributes:

• Physically fit to cope with the manual nature of the work
• The ability to work in a chilled environment
• Forklift and Reach truck licences
• Previous warehousing experience
• Have good literacy and numeracy skills (scanning required)
• Big team player
• Have an outstanding work ethic with relevant work history and good references
