Job summary

Bidfood’s Christchurch distribution centre is seeking a motivated Warehouse All-Rounder for a permanent full-time position. You will work across three environments—dry store, freezer, and chiller—within a busy distribution operation.

Key duties include replenishing stock, moving goods, receipting and put-away, picking and packing orders, and safe forklift operation. Monday–Friday with every second Saturday, overtime and a supportive team environment offered.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work across freezer, chiller and dry store environments.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Replenishing stock locations to ensure product availability
• Assisting with stock movement throughout the warehouse
• Working across freezer, chiller, and dry store areas
• Supporting the Inwards Goods team with receipting and put-away of stock
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Following all health and safety procedures

Do you want to be part of busy, fast paced, leading food Distribution Company, in New Zealand? Bidfood has a great opportunity for a permanent position in our warehouse team based at our distribution centre in Islington, Christchurch.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse All-Rounder to join our day shift team. This is a hands-on role offering variety across all areas of our warehouse operation.

Days of Work:

• Monday to Friday and every second Saturday
• Hours to be confirmed

About the Role

As a Warehouse All-Rounder, you will work across all three warehouse environments:

• Dry Store

This role requires a team player who is comfortable working in varying temperatures and can support multiple functions within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenishing stock locations to ensure product availability
• Assisting with stock movement throughout the warehouse
• Working across freezer, chiller, and dry store areas
• Supporting the Inwards Goods team with receipting and put-away of stock

What We're Looking For

• Current forklift licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good level of physical fitness
