Job summary

Visy Logistics in Auckland Penrose is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for a permanent full-time night shift role (8:30pm–5:30am), Monday–Friday. You will supervise Forklift Operators and Stores staff, allocate fleet, and ensure safe, compliant warehousing activities under the Warehousing Supervisor’s guidance.

You’ll bring 3+ years in warehousing/transport, proven leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with SAP/WMS.

• Minimum 3 years in local transport and warehouse operations.
• Experience in supervisory or team-leader role in warehouse/logistics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The opportunity:

We are seeking Warehouse Team Leaders to join our Visy Logistics teams based at our site in Penrose, Auckland. This is a newly created permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday on our night shift 8:30pm-5:30am. Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant supervision of all warehousing activities. Further to this your duties will include:

• Daily hands-on supervision and management of Forklift Operators and Stores people.
• Responsible for the fleet allocation and execution of customer deliveries, production transfers, packaging shuttles.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures and promote a safe and positive work environment.
• Operating double fork forklifts, counterbalance and high reach machinery.

What you'll bring to the team:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in local transport and warehouse operations.
• Proven experience in people management skills gained from a supervisory or team leader role (warehouse/logistics preferred).
• Strong communicate skills both written and verbally.
• Ability to manage workflow, priorities, and productivity during shift operations
• Basic computer skills are essential while experience with SAP and warehousing management systems is desirable.
• Valid Forklift Counterbalance and High Reach License.
