Job summary

Bidfood is seeking experienced Storepersons for a busy day shift in Mangere, Auckland. The role involves replenishing racks, picking and packing, and moving stock in a full-time capacity. Candidates should be physically fit, reliable, and able to lift up to 25kg regularly.

NZ residency or citizenship is required, and reach licences are preferred. We offer a minimum of 40 hours per week, ongoing employment, staff purchasing privileges after 3 months, and comprehensive training and support to help

Qualifications

• Proven warehouse or storeperson experience.
• Reliable with strong attendance.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25kg regularly.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong written and spoken English, numerical and communication skills.
• New Zealand Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
• Two referees.
• Reach licence (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Replenish racks accurately in a fast-paced warehouse.

Job description

Are you physically fit, reliable, and ready to be part of a hardworking team that keeps New Zealand's foodservice industry moving? We're looking for experienced Storepersons to join our busy day shift team in Mangere.

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy staying active, take pride in their work, and can be counted on to get the job done every day.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Rostered Saturdays
• Flexibility to work additional hours when business demands require

What You'll Be Doing

Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for accurately replenishing the racks, picking/packing and moving stock while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This is a physically demanding role that requires regular lifting and handling of products weighing up to 25kg.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

• Proven warehouse or storeperson experience
• A strong track record of reliability and attendance
• Excellent physical fitness and the ability to safely lift up to 25kg on a regular basis
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong written and spoken English, numerical and communication skills
• Experience in a food distribution or similar warehouse environment (preferred)
• A clean criminal record
• Two contactable work referees
• New Zealand Permanent Residency or Citizenship

Preference will be given to candidates with a reach licence and experience.
