Job summary

Lab Supply in Auckland, a New Zealand-based provider of laboratory equipment and consumables, is seeking a warehouse-focused team member. You will handle receiving, picking, packing and dispatching orders, coordinate with couriers, and maintain stock accuracy and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • Basic warehouse knowledge or distribution experience preferred.
  • Good organisational skills and accuracy in handling goods.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound goods, unload deliveries, check inventory and store items.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate with couriers to ensure timely delivery and follow up on shipments.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and report results.
  • Keep warehouse clean and safe, follow SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.

The role:

This role is in the driving seat of our business and works closely with multiple internal teams to support our customer needs.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Receiving and processing incoming goods, including unloading deliveries, checking inventory, and storing items in the warehouse.

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Co-ordinate and liaise with couriers as required to ensure prompt delivery and following up on delivery.

Undertake regular stock takes and report on results.

Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.

Collaborating with the national customer service, procurement and warehouse teams to ensure efficient and streamlined operations including resolving any complaints or errors & inventory management queries.

Determine and strictly adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain detailed records and documentation to support compliance with regulatory requirements.

Preferred:

Practical experience in warehouse environment or distribution
