Placements24 is seeking a diligent Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the Queenstown facility. You will assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods, ensuring accurate inventory and smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates are reliable, team players with good time management and attention to detail. A high school diploma is required; warehouse experience is a plus but not essential, with forklift training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy; ability to work in a team.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and operate warehouse machinery.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality.
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse with proper labeling.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
• Support the warehouse supervisor and team with operational tasks.
• Ensure all movements of goods are recorded accurately in the inventory system.
