Mount Maunganui | Full-time | Monday-Friday | No weekends
Florentines Patisserie has been producing premium frozen desserts and baked goods for 30+ years, and our products ship across New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, and Asia every single week. We're a tight team who take pride in what we do, and we're looking for someone ready to step into a genuine leadership role and make it their own.
If you're sharp, organised, tech-savvy, and want a role where you can actually see the impact of your work, this is it.
As Warehouse 2IC, you'll be a key part of our operations, working hands-on alongside a small warehouse crew while keeping everything running accurately and efficiently. You'll be the go-to person on the floor: picking raw ingredients for production, building out export containers, scanning and receipting stock, and making sure our inventory is always spot on.
This isn't a job where you disappear into the background. You'll be trusted, visible, and set up to shine.
Ingredient picking — selecting and staging the right raw materials for the production team each day
Export container packing — putting together outbound containers accurately and to schedule
Scanning & stock receipting — checking in deliveries, scanning product, and keeping records clean
ERP system operation — processing orders, managing documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy in our warehouse management system
Stock control — daily reconciliation, cycle counts, and keeping our warehouse accuracy tight
Team leadership — allocating tasks, training staff, and stepping up when it matters
Dispatch & logistics — coordinating outbound orders, liaising with suppliers and freight
Health & safety — keeping the environment safe and compliant
Solid warehouse or logistics experience, ideally in food manufacturing or FMCG
Confidence with computer systems: ERP, scanning software, and general computer literacy are a must
A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
Leadership experience (or a clear readiness to take that next step)
Forklift/high-reach ticket (or current and able to maintain it)
A positive attitude and someone your teammates want to work with
Reliable transport and a Monday-Friday commitment
Excellent salary — reflecting your experience and contribution
Stable, full-time hours with zero weekend work
A role with real responsibility from day one
Genuine opportunity to grow as the business grows
A supportive, no-BS team culture
