Job summary

Bayonet, a proudly New Zealand-owned manufacturer based in Tauranga, seeks an experienced warehouse professional to support the Warehouse & Logistics Manager and drive DIFOT targets. You will manage stock accuracy, cycle counting, and orchestrate dispatch of finished goods to customers.

Role requires a Class 1 licence with manual driving, OSH forklift with F endorsement, and experience with MYOB EXO or similar ERP/MRP. MPI readiness and strong Excel skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse logistics and inventory control.
• Current Class 1 Drivers Licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• OSH Forklift certificate with F endorsement.
• Experience with MYOB EXO or similar ERP/MRP system.
• Experience with transport portals for booking orders to be despatched.
• Container loading/unloading and load restraint knowledge.
• Ability to obtain MPI accreditation as required.
• Strong maths and English, with Excel and Word proficiency.
• Team player with strong customer service.
• Manufacturing or wire/underlay industry experience is a plus.

Job Description

In this role you will:

• Coordinate warehouse workloads and daily operational priorities
• Unload and load inbound and outbound trucks and containers
• Train, coach and support the wider warehouse team
• Maintain safety, quality, MPI and compliance standards throughout warehouse operations

We are after an individual who:

• Has previous experience in warehouse logistics and management. including inventory control and stock accuracy
• Holds a current Class 1 Drivers Licence and can drive a manual vehicle
• Holds an OSH Forklift certificate with F endorsement
• Has experience with MYOB EXO or a similar ERP/MRP system
• Has experience with Transport portals for booking orders to be despatched
• Has container loading and unloading experience, and understands load restraint practices
• Is comfortable obtaining or maintaining MPI accreditation requirements
• Has good maths and English skills, and is confident with Excel and Word
• Is a team player with strong customer service skills and an excellent work ethic
• Manufacturing environment or wire and underlay industry experience is a plus
