Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau is seeking a casual Ward Clerk for Middlemore Hospital. You must be available for morning, afternoon and evening shifts on short notice, including weekends and public holidays, to support patient care and front-line services.

You will interact with Medical, Nursing, Clerical, Orderlies and Clinical staff, ensuring wards are prepared and information is recorded accurately to enable smooth admissions and communications.

Qualifikationen

• Must have gained a NCEA level qualification.
• Proven Customer Service experience.
• Intermediate level of computer experience or literacy.
• Knowledge of iPMS/WiMS is desirable but not essential.

About the Role

At Middlemore Hospital we have an exciting opportunity for a ward clerk to join our team. This is a casual position and your need to be available to work at short notice, on call basis. We require a flexible person who will be available to work a number of morning, afternoon and evening shifts including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with a range of services like Medical, Nursing, Clerical, Orderlies and Clinical staff to name a few. You will also have the opportunity to use your excellent customer service skills while talking to our patients, their families, visitors and general practitioners.

About You

You will be required to ensure the wards are maintained and prepared for patient admission. Effective recording and filing of patient information is a mandatory requirement.

To be successful

• You must have gained a NCEA level qualification
• Proven Customer Service experience
• Intermediate level of computer experience or literacy
• Knowledge of iPMS/WiMS is desirable but not essential
