OceanaGold Corporation invites a motivated student in their 2nd last or final year of surveying to join the Waihi operation as a paid internship. You will work with the Survey team on-site, gaining practical experience from mid-November to mid-February, with 10-hour days and weekends free to enjoy the Coromandel.
Responsibilities include field and office survey tasks, collaboration with mentors, and presenting learnings to Site Management at the internship's end.

Are you a talented and ambitious student studying towards a Diploma or Bachelor of Surveying looking to gain practical experience in your field of study? We have the perfect opportunity for you to join our Survey team at OceanaGold working at our Waihi operation.
This paid internship opportunity will run approximately from mid-November through to mid-February (dependent on exam timetable of the successful applicant) working with our talented Survey team on-site at Waihi. The hours of work are 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 10 hour shifts. You get your weekends off to explore the stunning Coromandel!
