Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking a Vineyard Foreperson to join our hands-on vineyard team in Marlborough. You will work with the Vineyard Team Leads and Site Managers to coordinate daily activities, keep work plans moving and support operators to deliver safe, quality work.

You’ll stay actively involved in vineyard operations while taking on bigger-picture planning, coaching and training, with no formal direct reports. If you see what needs doing and take ownership, this is your chance to broaden leadership

Qualifications

• Strong vineyard foundations and willingness to broaden responsibilities.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and team collaboration.
• Willingness to work outside usual hours when needed.
• Experience with tractors and machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vineyard operations across health, irrigation, trellis maintenance, harvest.
• Daily coordination of work plans and safety.
• Coach and guide Vineyard Operators and standardisation.
• Plan, problem-solve, remove roadblocks on-site.
• Support training and assessments; ensure safe practices.
• Coordinate fleet servicing, chemical stock, data entry, and other tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement in safe, efficient results.
