Employment Type:

Know the work? Ready to take more ownership?
This is an opportunity to take the next step in vineyard operations while staying close to the practical work.
As a Vineyard Foreperson, you’ll work alongside our Vineyard Team Leads and Site Managers to help coordinate daily activities, keep work plans moving, solve problems on the ground and support operators to deliver safe, quality work.
You’ll still be actively involved in vineyard operations, but with greater responsibility for seeing the bigger picture: what needs doing, how the work is tracking and where the team may need support.
You’ll coach and guide operators, support training and assessments and help maintain consistent standards across the vineyard. While you’ll provide day‑to‑day guidance and support, the role has no formal direct reports, allowing you to build practical leadership experience through coordination, coaching and influence.
If you’re already someone who sees what needs doing, steps forward to help and takes pride in getting the whole job done well, this could be the role for you.
This is a permanent opportunity to broaden your vineyard experience and build your leadership capability while remaining hands‑on in the operation.
Stay hands‑on. Take more ownership. Build your leadership experience.
These responsibilities reflect the Foreperson role’s mix of practical vineyard operations, daily planning, work‑plan monitoring, coaching, training and problem‑solving.
We’re more interested in finding someone with strong vineyard foundations who is ready to broaden their experience and take on more responsibility than someone who ticks every box.
You’ll bring:
You don’t need to have held a formal leadership role before. Bring strong vineyard or horticulture or rural operations knowledge, good judgement and the confidence to take more ownership, and we’ll help you continue building your capability.
Vinarchy is a home for passionate people to do their very best work. We believe in empowering our people and celebrating success.
For our Vineyard Operations Team, that means the opportunity to broaden your experience, take on more responsibility and build your leadership capability while staying connected to hands‑on vineyard operations.
Like the sound of taking the next step while staying close to vineyard operations? We’d like to hear from you.
At Vinarchy, we are dedicated to building a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture. Prospective candidates will be required to provide proof of legal work rights and undertake relevant pre‑employment screening to verify eligibility and suitability.
