Accolade Wines Limited in New Zealand is seeking an Area Foreperson to join our vineyard operations, staying hands-on while taking greater ownership of planning, safety and quality. You’ll work with team leads to coordinate daily activities, coach operators and help deliver consistent standards across the site.

Qualificações

• Strong vineyard fundamentals and readiness to broaden experience.
• Ability to guide and support others in practical settings.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with iPad, email and standard workplace systems.
• Flexibility to work outside usual hours for critical vineyard activities.
• Understanding of viticulture and vineyard operations preferred.
• Tractor and machinery operating experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Vineyard Operations: manage vine health, irrigation, trellis maintenance, harvest activities.
• Daily Coordination: communicate daily and weekly work plans and keep vineyard activities moving safely.
• Operator Support: coach and guide Vineyard Operators, share knowledge and maintain standards.
• Planning & Problem-Solving: monitor progress, identify roadblocks and solve practical issues.
• Training: support operator training and assessments and reinforce safe, consistent ways of working.
• Organisation: coordinate fleet servicing, chemical stock control, data entry and other operational requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: look for better ways of working and help the team deliver safe, efficient results.
