Job summary

IDEXX field support role based in Christchurch, covering the South Island and part of the North Island. You will install and support IDEXX diagnostic equipment in veterinary clinics, provide education and onboarding, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to help clinics deliver better patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Veterinary Nursing or a relevant science discipline.
• Significant experience in veterinary industry, ideally in leadership or senior roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication adaptable to audiences.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management.
• Experience providing technical support & troubleshooting for customers.
• Confident delivering training and education to diverse groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research solutions.
• Collaborative across teams with positive relationships.
• Knowledge of veterinary medicine, clinic workflows or diagnostic processes.
• Comfort travelling extensively (up to 85%) and working independently across large regions.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Install and support IDEXX diagnostic equipment, products and services in veterinary clinics.
• Provide education, onboarding, and training to clinic teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and identify effective solutions.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with veterinary professionals and clinic teams.
• Collaborate with commercial and internal support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Promote IDEXX products and services to drive customer satisfaction and clinic outcomes.
• Travel extensively throughout assigned territory to support customers in person.
