Job summary

Foton New Zealand in Hamilton is seeking a hands-on Vehicle Processing Centre coordinator to join our national distribution team. Based at Te Rapa, you’ll prepare brand-new vehicles for delivery, coordinate movements, and support the sales team across New Zealand.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm, salary $26–$32 per hour depending on experience. This role offers on-the-job training, real responsibility, and clear career growth within NZ's fast-growing commercial-vehicle brand.

Qualifications

  • A clean driver's license (full preferred but restricted considered for the right candidate).
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Good physical fitness in a hands-on role.
  • Understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating vehicle movements to Hamilton/Auckland suppliers (engineers, painters, mechanics and more).
  • Preparing vehicles for delivery, including detailing and accessory installation.
  • Maintaining vehicle stock and updating vehicle records.
  • Conducting inspections and preparing damage reports for incoming vehicles.
  • Assisting with vehicle deliveries throughout New Zealand.
  • Travelling to the Auckland holding facility to inspect new shipments of vehicles as they arrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the National Distributor for Foton Utes, Vans and Trucks, you'll prepare vehicles for delivery to dealers and customers across New Zealand - you'll play an important part in making that happen.

Based at our modern, purpose-built Vehicle Processing Centre in Te Rapa, no two days are the same. You'll be working with brand-new vehicles, coordinating logistics, travelling when needed, and helping ensure every Foton leaves ready to impress.

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
