Job summary

Christchurch Airport is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for our new Valet Operations team. You’ll welcome customers, manage vehicle handovers with care, and deliver a seamless premium valet experience across the airport precinct.

This part-time, fixed-term role covers early-morning shifts, with induction starting 24 September and shifts from 29 September. You’ll work mostly at the kiosk, with occasional driving responsibilities, and need a full, clean driver’s licence and a safety-first

About the Role

As a Customer Service Coordinator in our new Valet Operations team, you’ll be one of the first friendly faces our customers meet at Christchurch Airport. You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless, premium valet experience, welcoming customers, managing vehicle handovers with care and professionalism, and ensuring every interaction is efficient, safe and positive.

This is a hands-on operational role where you’ll be responsible for opening and managing the kiosk, welcoming customers as they arrive, and providing a friendly and professional valet experience.

While the majority of your time will be based in the kiosk, you’ll also be required to safely relocate and park customers’ vehicles within the airport precinct when needed. Care, attention to detail and confidence driving a range of vehicles are essential, along with a strong focus on safety when moving vehicles between customer drop-off points and designated parking areas.

While you’ll be part of a wider team, this role also requires confidence and independence. At times may be working on your own while your colleagues are tending to customers and therefore you will need to be confident maintaining high service standards without direct supervision. If you enjoy taking ownership, working autonomously, and delivering exceptional service every time, this could be the role for you.

We have the following shifts available, with one position available for each shift. These are, part-time, fixed-term roles for six months.

• Sunday to Tuesday – 0400 – 0800 (12 hours per week)


• Wednesday to Saturday – 0400 – 0800 (16 hours per week)

Successful applicants must be available to attend three full days of induction and training during the week of 24 September, with shifts commencing from Monday, 29 September.
