Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to join its foundation team at the Snowy River mine site in New Zealand. You will perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations across fixed plant and ancillary equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in a hands-on, safety‑minded environment.

With a practical, self-managing approach, you will contribute to reliable operations as Endura scales its mining operations, while benefiting from competitive remuneration,

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in fitting or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance, mining or heavy industrial.

Job Description

This is a rare opportunity to join Endura Mining at a foundational stage and help shape its future from the ground up. The stage is set for you to be part of this journey from the very beginning, where your impact will directly influence how we scale and succeed. We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to carry out scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations across the Snowy River mine site. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will keep the fixed plant and ancillary equipment running reliably and safely. This is a hands-on role in a small, multi-skilled maintenance team at a new operation. It suits a practical, self-managing tradesperson who takes pride in their work, pitches in across the plant, and is happy to turn their hand to a wide range of tasks.

Job requirements

• Conduct PM-generated inspections to a high standard and close out paperwork with informative history notes.
• Performance-test equipment before returning it to service to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Carry out repairs and installations in consultation with OEMs where required.

Job responsibilities

• A recognised mechanical trade qualification (fitting / mechanical).
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance, ideally in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
