Job summary

Ports of Auckland in Auckland, North Island, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to manage the Vehicle Booking System (CargoWise) and coordinate truck movements entering Fergusson Wharf and the POAL Empty Yard. You will release additional VBS bookings as needed and ensure trucks are processed efficiently and on time.

Based onsite with an eight-week rotating roster (day, afternoon and night shifts plus two long weekend shifts), the role requires strong communication, attention to detail and

As a Transport Coordinator, you will be based in our Road Office, managing the vehicle booking system (CargoWise) and ensuring the smooth flow of trucks entering Fergusson Wharf and the POAL Empty Yard. Your core responsibility is to release additional VBS bookings when required and ensure all trucks are processed efficiently and on time.

This is a full-time onsite role with an eight-week rotating roster. Indicative roster pattern:

• Two weeks of day shifts (7:00 am – 3:00 pm)
• Two weeks of afternoon shifts (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
• Two weeks of night shifts (11:00 pm – 7:00 am)Two weekends with 12-hour shifts (one day shift and one night shift)
