Job summary

MINDS is seeking a dedicated Training Officer to support client development and daily living skills in our disability services program. You will design ILPs, supervise trainees, and collaborate with Allied Health Professionals.

You will coordinate activities, manage safety procedures, and engage with families/caregivers to promote inclusive community living. Previous experience in special education or disability services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum O levels.
• NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services (ITE).
• Certificate of Special Needs Education (MOE).
• Diploma of Special Education (MOE).
• Diploma in Disability Studies (SSI).
• Diploma of Community Services (SSI).

Responsibilities

• Engage and develop clients to function adequately and independently in daily living, home living, mobility and social skills.
• Formulate and implement Individual Learning Program (ILP) through assessment.
• Monitor and evaluate trainees' holistic development and plan group activities.
• Support health-witness programmes and liaise with allied health professionals.
• Organise events, ensure safety procedures, and engage with caregivers and parents.
