Job summary

Presbyterian Support East Coast invites applications for Enliven Disability-Community Mentor roles at our Havelock North site. Two 20-hour per week positions (Mon-Fri 8:30–17:00 and Tue-Sat) support five residential clients to build life networks and community participation.

You will accompany clients to activities, assess goals, and help them access water-based therapy, sports events or live shows. A Level 2–4 Health & Wellbeing Certificate and a full clean driver’s license are preferred;

Qualifications

• Hold Level 2–4 Health & Wellbeing Certificate (or equivalent).
• Full clean driver's license; experience driving mobility vans desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; patient and empathetic.
• Ability to work with people with disabilities in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Journey alongside residential clients to build networks and increase community participation.
• Support clients to engage in activities such as water-based therapy, bowling, and events.
• Assist clients to identify goals and make meaningful connections in the local community.
• Provide patient, empathetic support and maintain safe transport to activities.
