PlaceMakers Mt Wellington in Auckland is seeking a Trade Support Team Member to provide essential support across trade operations, liaising with Account Managers and suppliers to ensure seamless service and timely deliveries.

The role involves handling customer inquiries, quoting, product advice, coordinating orders, and contributing to a collaborative team culture; a strong knowledge of building products and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in trade support, sales coordination, customer service, or internal sales
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure
• Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of building products & materials and/or a solid understanding of construction processes is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and suppliers face to face, over the phone, and via email
• Recommend suitable products, process orders, and manage sales documentation
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to track orders and arrange timely deliveries
• Take clear briefs from stakeholders and prepare accurate quote documentation
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Team Leaders to capture opportunities through daily and weekly planning
