Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Greymouth is looking for a motivated Trade Support team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will assist Trade Representatives, prepare quotations, coordinate orders, source products and deliver exceptional service to trade customers.

Working closely with suppliers, customers and store teams, you will help maximise sales, build strong relationships and maintain a high standard of service across all interactions. This is a team-friendly, customer-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and estimate from construction drawings.
• Prepare and follow up customer quotations.
• Support Trade Representatives with enquiries, sales opportunities, and project coordination.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments for successful outcomes.
• Coordinate customer orders and deliveries.
• Process stock orders to meet customer requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation.
• Support stock management and inventory processes.
• Assist with continuous improvement of systems and processes in Trade.
• Collaborate with Trade, Retail and Management Teams to achieve goals.

Mitre 10 MEGA Greymouth is seeking a motivatedand customer-focused Trade Support team member to join our successful TradeDepartment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someonewho enjoys working in a fast-paced environment supporting TradeRepresentatives, preparing quotations, coordinating customer orders, sourcingproducts, and delivering outstanding service to our trade customers.

The Trade Support role is a key positionwithin our business. Working closely with our Trade Team, suppliers, customers,and wider store teams, you will contribute to the success of the business bymaximizing sales opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, andensuring a high standard of service is delivered every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Being familiar reading, understanding and estimating fromconstruction drawings.
• Preparing and following up customer quotations.
• Supporting Trade Representatives with customer enquiries, salesopportunities, and project coordination.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments toensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinating customer orders and deliveries.
• Processing stock orders to meet customer requirements.
• Providing exceptional customer service both in person and over thephone.
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation.
• Supporting stock management and inventory processes.

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have

• An understanding of construction form drawings to deliveries.
• Previous experience working with trade customers, suppliers, orwithin the building and construction industry.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the abilityto prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Building supplies and product knowledge.
