Job summary

CARTERS Madras Street Branch is seeking a Trade Sales Support person to join the team in Christchurch. You will be the main contact for trade and retail customers, delivering excellent service and resolving inquiries with professional communication.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will support orders, maintain records, and assist Account Managers and Sales Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver outcomes effectively.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, team, and suppliers.
• Excellent communication skills and a great telephone manner.
• Confidence in navigating computer systems.
• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and resolving customer queries quickly and effectively.
• Providing accurate product and service information to help customers get the right solution.
• Arranging buy-ins, inbound calls and outbound calls, ensuring exceptional service.
• Keeping order records accurate while building genuine, long-term relationships with customers.
• Supporting Account Managers and Sales Representatives with queries, orders and information.

CARTERS Madras Street Branch is looking for a Trade Sales Support person to join the team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for trade and retail customers, demonstrating excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to customer service.

• Taking orders and resolving customer queries quickly and effectively
• Providing accurate product and service information to help customers get the right solution
• Arranging buy-ins, inbound calls and outbound calls, making sure every customer gets exceptional service
• Keeping order records accurate whilst building genuine, long-term relationships with our customers
• Supporting our Account Managers and Sales Representatives with customer queries, orders and information

About You
